Absolutely YES! We believe that women of all shapes and sizes deserve to have their legacy preserved with *beautiful* portraits of themselves. You can do this, and trust us, we know how to pose a woman to show her at her best - you will be thrilled when you hold your images in your hand!

We specialize in the "cool, undone woman" which will usually involve things you already own, like blazers and high waisted panties, bodysuits, robes, etc. Basically whatever you feel beautiful in is what you should wear - dresses, jeans, lingerie, bodysuits, and nude are all options. You get a “Getting Ready” packet when you book that answers this question more fully - don’t worry, we are here to help!

Of course, it can be great to have a friend come with you for moral support and to tell you how beautiful you look (though we will be doing that also, since you will look fantastic!). It is completely fine if you bring one friend with you, though we ask that they not help with "touching up" or fixing hair / directing, since we will be taking care of that. Our policy is that only one friend may come, and boyfriends/husbands/partners are *not* allowed to be in the room while we are shooting.

Please let us know before the shoot if you plan to bring a friend.

It is our firm belief that all parts of a woman's body are beautiful, though we do work hard to only pose you in ways that show you at your best. That being said, we do professionally edit skin to smooth it and remove blemishes/bruises/under-eye-circles. We can also remove scars if you ask, though in general if something is permanent we don't edit it out. This studio believes women should be proud of their body, so we do not edit women to be different sizes than they actually are. After your shoot you will realize that you really don’t need “fixing” to look beautiful!

Our clients spend between 500 and 5,000, depending on what they want from their photo experience. What you buy is entirely up to you, and you only purchase the images you love. All photoshoots include professional makeup, a personalized photo session, the professional retouching of your images, and the in-person photo reveal for you to see your images and order your products (all of our packages also include a gorgeous photo album). Life happens and sometimes you need to reschedule your session. We offer one complimentary reschedule for your photoshoot, but after that there is a rescheduling fee of 150 so the makeup artist gets paid for reserving her time.

Hair and Makeup will take 1-2 hours, then we have a pre-session chat to discuss the shoot which takes 15-20 minutes. The photoshoot itself will be approximately 2 hours, so most clients are done with the whole process in about 5 hours.

We will schedule your photo reveal, an in-person viewing and ordering session, in the studio (or on Zoom if you prefer a video call) - this session is a part of the service that we offer in order to help clients with choosing images, comparing images side-by-side, and selecting a great variety for albums and wall art. This is one of our favorite parts of the whole experience! We love going through your beautiful images with you, and since there are a lot of them it can get a little overwhelming - we don't let our customer service end with the photoshoot, we are happy to help you get exactly what you want in this step.

We recommend you book your session about 2 months before you want to have your photos. Your photo reveal session will be 1-2 weeks after your photoshoot, and the products you order then will arrive 4-6 weeks after that.

Of course we would *love* to show your beautiful images on our website and social media but we respect your privacy and we would never show your images without your consent. Most of our clients are proud of their pictures and are happy to show them - we allow you to choose whether we show your face, etc., and we will never tag you in images on social media. Just let us know what you are ok with us showing!

We specialize in black and white imagery but of course we understand that you might like some photos in color. We are able to convert any photo that you like into color for you, just ask!
